First a little background,
I'm 24, played college football for 4 years and looking for something to continue to compete in. I've been lifting for about 10 years. Have a pretty good background in lifting including olympic lifting, HIT, bodybuilding, and just recently focusing on powerlifting.
My lifting partner and I will be competing in our first competition this december. It is a Son Light Power Push/Pull event. We will both be competing raw in the 220 class.
I have a few questions to help prepare us for this event. First, what is the difference between novice and open class? Second, how exactly does the round system work? Any advice is greatly appreciated.
