Hi Hank Jr.
He has squatted 805 at the IPA Nationals, he went to that Power Palooza meet and went 950-1000-1050, they were all high and he bombed. Paul Childress and I worked with him for around 4 hours. When he first came in he was sitting straight down and not back, he had a million little technical errors. He took a 865 squat and was still a few inches above where he had to be. I figure right now he is a legit 750-800 pound squatter. If he goes home and does what we told him he could be very strong. He does not even train his ABs if you can believe that? Paul and I gave him some exercises that will have his ass sore for a week! He is a good yound(23)kid, he has a desire to learn and get better which I'm sure he will! We also converted or I will say Paul C converted him to sumo deadlifting from conventional and with in 15 minutes he looked really fucking good! He is planning to come down abount once a month to train with us. The guy who came down with him is Rich Putnum who is competing this week at the Bench America 2. He is a 242er who has done 650 and could not touch 700. He is hoping to bench around 600 in a single poly. He is a really nice guy and has his shit together with benching and really helped my training partner out with his tecnique.
