Freeze Testosterone to Tell Real from Fake?

I just saw a post on another board that mentions you can freeze Test and real test fogs up while fake stays clear. Is there any merit to this test? If so, it beats the "wait and see," or "get some blood-work" approaches.
 
find that hard to believe. most likely crack bottle. if you not sure what you injecting in your body is real or not then why bother risking your healh. also by freezing real test you make ruin it.
 
Not sure about the answer for ur Q. but man if you inject test IMHO you feel it.. even longer ester in the same week i.e oily skin, woods, water retention, hunger etc. so I would at least give it a week..just a thaught. g/l

If your really keen on finding out if its the real deal, and dont mind losing a ml, then take a test tube put a ml of depot in it, freeze it till it crashes and separates, pass through a coffee filter, scrap off the crystals, put it on some aluminium foil, then do a melting point test with your oven.

Eg test enanth melts at 39 c
test cyp 98 -104 c

etc...

If it melts at the temp its supposed to then , thats what it is, all AAS have a unique melting point that can be used to identify it without a lab test.

Wont tell you if your gear is underdosed, or exactly how pure the base is. But its a good way to know if your in the right ballpark.

If you did not have two separate substances, it would tell you that you probably had 100% oil or perhaps some other AAS.

For instance, I have some of the controversial Denkall T-400 that is allegedly a mix of Enan, Cyp, and Prop. Would it freeze differently? Is there a characteristic pattern one would see in that combination?

A suspension is already separated, a solution is not. A suspension just needs to be filtered.

A suspension micro-particles are "suspended" usually in a thicker than water base for orals and ba water for injectable.

A solution is when powder is totally dissolved, for orals everclear is usually used, for injectable, ba eo and other diluting agents are used to disolve into solution. A solution needs to be crashed to separate the crystals from the base.

Using crashing to check dosage.

If you wanted to know if your vial was properly dosed, you would have to do a little math with the above procedure in my other post, you would have to weigh the crystals in the coffee filter.

eg. 1 ml depot crashed separated and filtered, lets say dry crystal weight is 100mg

then you know its dosed at 100mg/ml if its 70mg/ml or 50mg/ml then its under dosed. The smaller the sample the greater the error rate will be, so testing 10 ml will be more accurate than 1 ml, reason being loss and oil residue weight. you could always wash the crystals for more accuracy but not really necessary, you just want a ballpark analysis.

Crashing is caused by the carrier(oil) not the compound.

Melting test wouldnt work as well with a mix, as all 3 tests have a different melting point, what you would see would be part of the powder pile would melt while other parts would not.

Although i guess ,if i want to know i would do a melt test in 3 stages

test enanth melts at 39 c
test cyp 98 -104 c
test prop 118-122C

So i would check for partial liquification at 39c
check for more liquification at 104c
check for total liquification at 122c

If it totally melts at 122c, then theres a good chance its your mix, but we wont know if theres something else in there unless it melts higher than 122c. But with mixes i would say they are all or nothing, all fake or all real.
 
Well to say that the freeze test is bogus is an obvious understatement - after looking at Druss's comments. The presence of an online site that tested AAS for authenticity - if the price could be brought into a reasonable range - would make some money.

Plus, it would change the world of UG labs and sponsors. It would bring a much higher level of accountability to the game.

A suspension is already separated, a solution is not. A suspension just needs to be filtered.

Oops..I realize it's a solution versus suspension. Thanks for the catch I should have said if it's mixed well, it won't crash out of the solvent. I tried freezing a vial and it just turns viscous(won't move) and cloudy but no separation and immediately returns to clear state when back to room temp.

Geneza Mast 100-- everything good, a little overdosed, and like almost all other labs had a contaminant of carboline
Lyka labs test prop- same as above
R.O.H.M. tren ace- same as above, except very slightly underdosed and had trace amounts of other steroids
Sciroxx tren ace-- bacteria, water, metals- all good pH a little low, and listed contaminants are amines, parrafins, Bis(2-ethyl hexyl) phthalate
Gen-shi Masteron- heavy metals at <.004%, slightly overdosed, and contaminants were testosterone and amines
