Guys please help me out!! My mail man delivers while I am work and as cold as it has been lately when I came home to collect my mail my DVD's were frozen! They thawed and looked look normal someone please tell me that there not ruined!!
It won't freeze... but depending on the concentration it may look as one solid chunk... something the consistency of bacon grease. lol. If it gets too cold, then the test will crash out of solution and you'll see some crystallization. Just warm em up under hot water, and then you'll be fine.
Oil has to get to -18 degrees celcius to freeze.
Need to have a mail box at a store so that its in room temperature. Always safer that way too than having it sent right to your home. This way youll never have to worry about the elements, summer or winter.
They really should be just fine. They should have crystalized though in the cold, but as someone else here said if you heat it up slowly it will redissolved and go back into solution.
