After following what my doctor has told me, I am getting better. No caffeine, no spicy foods, no acidic foods, no dairy, no red meat, no alcohol, and no fatty foods...oh and DO NOT over eat...no stuffing myself.
I had food poisoning a couple months back that accelerated this problem. I had some acid reflux, but never paid much attention to it...this has been going on for over a year...many times in the night I would wake up with acid in my lunges and on a couple occasions, I rolled over and puked. If I would have treated this in the beginning when the signs were there, I am sure I would not be to this stage of it.
Well now that I have been diagnosed with this, I am very much paying attention. I would feel very bloated after eating, and then the acid burps would start...on a couple occasions, I barfed my brains out in the middle of the night. I still burp like crazy after a CLEAN meal, but the acid is gone.
STOMACH CANCER: this can happen when gastritis becomes chronic...I am NOT going to get to that point, so I am following what the doctor said, and even what Phil and I chatted about. He is a very very very smart guy...the only protein I am eating and drinking now comes from chicken and LBAs. The rest of the day is filled with hunger (because I am use to eating my ass off), and veggies, some whole grain pasta, sushi every now and then (NO wasabi or soy sauce), and none acidic fruits....hey maybe I will become shredded after all this??
I have gone from 253 to 238 but hey I feel better.
