Well Friday night Marilyn and I were invited to a private showing of the trailer for a proposed sitcom "Something Fishy." **broken link removed**
Marilyn is friends with an actress Debbie Seiber who is in the the show. The show stars former professional wrestlers George "The Animal" Steele and Greg "The Hammer" Valentine. After the screening I got a chance to meet "The Animal" and chat with him a bit. I have to say he was quite personable and can really entertain a room. We hit it off right away and he of course made an example of me by roughing me up a little for the crowd. Here he is doing a trick were he tries to push my arm down while asking me my name. I was able to keep him from pushing my arm down. He asked me again but told me to lie to him this time. When I told him my name was Jim he was able to easily push my arm down. He then turned to Marilyn and said next time he's out late at night, hold his arm just like this and ask him where he's been. If you can push his arm down, well he's not telling you the truth.
He also grabbed both of my arms and tried to push them down. I was able to keep both of my arms up. He was like "you are pretty strong" He then faked like he was going to hit me in the nuts and easily pushed my arms down.
He asked me if I new what he did. I said, "ah faked like you were going to punch me in the nuts?" He said, "no I broke you're aura"
George is really an interesting character that I would like to know better. He invited me to contact him and send him these pictures. After the showing Marilyn and I went to a VIP party for the cast and crew at one of the downtown Orlando clubs. I enjoyed hanging out and talking to the cast and crew. Once again George came right up to me and was really friendly. He invited me to sit with him at his table and get something to eat. I thanked him but declined telling him I had to watch my figure. Later a professional photographer snapped a photo with him and Marilyn. I will try to get that photo in the future. All and all it was a great time and I hope for all of the good people that I met with the show that it is a success.
