Here are some pics from the show. I am in the middle and placed second. The asian kid placed 1st. Let me know what ya think.

Looks very close between all three guys there actually.
he may have had you on a few things But he looks smoother then you in the pics?

From looking at those pictures i think your posing was better than his in all but side chest, very nice conditioning by the way.

also, depending on his dryness (doesnt show in pix), he'd have better legz too

apart from that u have a nice physique, congratz

the asian dude was pretty solid from the back, his hammys and back were his best , he seemed to have overall thicker legs but your conditioning was better in my opinion ,,, from the front it looked like a tie.

job well done that was a very tuff competition everyone looks great.

OH and by the way what show was this?

Wow im pretty sure this was the Contra Costa? HUGE show VERY VERY tough. You would have taken overall at most other shows. Job well done, maybe you could add some great advice and knowledge to this board more often.

just my opinion.
actualy the more i look at the pics the more i wanted to say you should take 1st.
and actualy i look again,and definetly you should placed first.the other guy was biger,but not separated like you.you were dry and look proportional,maybe legs were lacking some size.
but the other guy was very smart poser.i can give him that,he knew how to hide his weak points(what i mean he was looking like he was holding a lot of water)but some poses he just knew how to flex.
it was close,but you suposed to be first,again in my opinion.
very impresive,very good job.
get some pizza or pizza with pizza

his side poses were great, but from the front he looked soft, really soft, could be the timing of the pics but he just looked softer then u did, spec from the front. From the side u guys were pretty even, but he did have that nice deep lines in his legs. Back pretty even again from the pics, but I still think u had a better overall condition and great proportions. Keep your head up u did very well, Now its time to put on some more beef!!!! Go eat

I totally agree with what gooey and jerry said. But you should be damn proud, excellent conditioning, and it looked like a pretty tough show from those pictures.

Well, I do judge as well, and from those pics, I would have given you the nod. The other guy looked better from behind, you were even from the side but from the front there was no contest in my opinion. His legs brought him down. Way too smooth while you had full separation and dryness. Very close, but I would have nodded your way. From those pics anyway.
Could be a different story in real life and maybe evn the routines could make a difference since you were so close.

i dont get about which one you talking about,the guy who won the show looked soft.and yes hi did.and i was talking about very first pic.and in that pic he'is not showing himself that much,but the guy who won looked like he knew how to show himself.
i didnt say that the guy who won looked better,and i sayed that in the begining,that our buy should win.
oh well.i need go back to school and get some schooling how to write

He looks a little soft compared to you...yeh he has leg mass on you, but it looks very soft compared to your conditioning. TO me it looks like you did everything correct.

THAT WAS A GOOD CLASS. A FEW OF THOSE GUYS LOOKED VERY GOOD WHEN VIEWED FROM THE FRONT...BUT WHEN ALL YOU GUYS TURNED AROUND....WELL THAT ASIAN GUY LOOKED TERRIFIC. YOU DEFINITELY HAD HIM ON CONDITION....HE'S A TAD BIGGER...BUT YOU PROBABLY WERE BIGGER BEFORE YOU ACHIEVED THE CONDITION WHICH YOU PRESENTED AT THE SHOW.

I WOULD SAY CONDITION PLAYED A HUGE ROLE IN YOUR PLACING....WOULD YOU AGREE? GREAT JOB.....IT'S CRAZY BUT THOSE DARN SHOW PICS RARELY SHOW THE TRUE DEGREE OF RIPPEDNESS ONE HAS ACHIEVED! FOR EXAMPLE..THE PICS YOU POSTED LEADING UP TO THE SHOW ...REALLY SHOW HOW FRIGGIN LEAN YOU WERE!

Your conditioning was excellent and superior to his.

He had better overall shape and symettry and his legs smoked yours from the front.

In the rear lat spread pic his back appeared thicker and he had a better overall look in the pose.

All this feedback is good - but the contest wasn't judged by "these" pics.

I saw some shots of the Asian's legs that were "soft" and others where he's really striated. Too often, pictures don't always do justice.

Having said all that - you looked great.

I can remember just a the recent Emerald where a VERY conditioned winner was getting his trophy, and for quite a period, he relaxed way too much and it was like WTF, look how soft he is?!?! I can imagine there were plenty of pics taken during thay time.
