Gh serum test vs igf-1 levels

Newbie question here. My source has HGH generic grey tops and says:

"serum test - 21.7 ng/mL Same subject tested 33.3 ng/mL on Novos for reference"

Can someone help me understand what this test means? Is it dose dependent? In other words, do I need to know how many IUs this subject took to make sense of these results? Also, does timing of the test matter?

Also, I had my IGF-1 levels tested last time I took gh. Is that useless? My doc doesn't rx gh serum tests, so if the igf-1 test is not a good indicator, I will look for a new doc.

he is saying that some1 tested these greys and they test somewhat less than a U.S.A. pharma grade HGH which he is useing as a pure bench mark.
the test measures the amount of HGH in the blood at the time of the blood draw. Which the tester should have done both test the same way.not sure what the numbers actually meen but we know 21.7 is less than 33.3

Igf-1 is a good way to measure it takes sometime to peak blood levels 1 week or more .
There is a lot of testing going on right now on this forum on these methods.
