Those look great. Both my son and I wear the Nike brand. Feather light, in style, and look great. Little pricey. Depending on what type of insurance you have (may pay 100%), most will pay 100% for the exam and then $100-$150 toward glasses (frames & lens) or contacts per year.
I wear Oakley Double Down 4.0's. Tough as hell, they look cool, and they won't disintegrate when they fall off your face during a heavy lift and step on them.

Are you dead set on glasses? Are you going to try some contacts? I wear contacts 95% of the time. I find glasses a bit annoying when I am training....set drops on the lenses...etc.. Just a thought.
If u plan on working out or sweating while wearing them DO NOT get metal frames. After a while, they will turn your temples green!
I switched to plastic. I love em
Thanks guys im checking out the gucci and the d & g's right now. I have contacts but they are a pain in the ass sometimes. My girl is buyin me some glasses for my b-day so thats why im lookin around
I would never have any other type frame than Flexon .
The frames are nearly indestructible.
Before I got Flexons I was going trrough a frame a year .
The Flexons that I have now I've had for five years.
You can bend them in half and they will return to the original shape .

What he said...but you can only bend them about 20 times, then after that you'll go to clean your lenses one day and they'll just fall apart in your hand! LOL.
Other than that fine experience I had...they are good. Im in construction and have been hit in the head, face...etc...so..they do take a beating.
I'm a General contractor and just like you something is always trying to screw up my glasses on the construction site .
I've only had to repair them once snice I've had them .
