I was a college football player so I trained for a lot of athletic enhancement. Now I train on a body part split but include power movements and train with bands.. etc. I weigh 220 lbs at 8.5% bf. I have been doing bench with reverse bands(blue) with 600lbs for 3 reps. I was wondering if the bands are similar to using a bench shirt, and what anyone thinks I could get with all the gear powerlifters use. Most I have ever benched is 455 2 yrs ago with just wrist wraps. I currently Squat around 600 with just knee wraps and dead lift 550 with wraps. Are these decent numbers, and if I switched to more of a powerlifting workout do I have what it takes to compete?
