Speaking of Ferrari did you happen to see the show on the National Geographic channel about the Ferrari factory? Im not sure if you guys would get it over there or not. It was called "Inside Ultimate Factories". Maybe I can find it online for you, but it was sweet.

Yes, saw the vid when it came out long ago. We have the same channels here as you guys do, same shops, etc. It's just another US state. Just cars are ridiculously expensive due to government taxes.
A new Murcie is AU$800k (US$750k) here and a new Phantom is AU$1mil (US$910k). Mustangs are AU$120k (US$105k) and Z06's are AU$240k (US$210k).
You need to be truly rich here to have expensive cars. And house prices are the same as the cars. I bought a block of land last year and I paid just over $100k in stamp duty alone.

The Ferrari is only a 348. I always wanted one as when I grew up, that's what Ferraris had - the side strakes. I found a good deal on a concourse car, so I got it to play with it for a few months to get it out of my system and then pass it on, as I won't be driving it too much after that, as I have my other, newer exotics to play with.
To put it in perspective with your prices, this 348 cost me just over AU$100k (US$95k).
