I have a female client that was given HCG by her doctor and put on a 500 calorie per day diet for 2 weeks and lost about 15 pounds.
Wondering why this works ?
She was given Sublingual HCG but if this was used with a 5000 ampule diluted with 1 ml bact. water what would quanity would be used in a slin pin, 1 iu ?
Recently I have heard of another doctor recomending this.
Anyone else heard of this or have used this with female clients ?
For a female figure competitor would this and a small quantity of clen shred them up ?

Yeah, hcg or no hcg, on 500 calories a day I would think just about anybody is going to lose weight. But I have heard of people using hcg for fat loss, I always thought it was more of a placebo affect but maybe there's something to it.
 
Yes I had asked the question about a month ago-- So my friend did go on the diet and lost 33lb in 28 days. It actually shrunk the fat cell as was explained by the doc. Prior to the 500 cals, she had to gorge and eat everything insight for about 2 days I believe. This was to open and stretch the fat cell so the HCG could get in. This all stems from hat Treaduea dude with the apple cidar vinager. She looks great and did not have the loose skin or soft look, and did zero working out in the 28 days due to lack of energy.
 
HCG and muscle loss

I trained a female client who took HCG for approximately 40 days. She ate only 500 calories per day, stopped working out after 2 weeks and pretty much laid on the couch. She lost 50 pounds but after all that was said and done she was unhappy because she couldn't do anything anymore. She used to be an avid golfer, racquetball player and weightlifter. Her face looked drawn out and sickly. She was happy with the weight loss but disappointed in the effects. She gained about 20 pounds back and we are now working on nutrition again and getting her metabolism back. 5-6 small meals a day with weight training. I see her getting stronger but she lost a tremendous amount of muscle. Initially she was happy with being smaller but now she regrets doing it. For a female figure competitor, she would definitely lose too much muscle and may not be happy with her results. I would recommend the velocity diet posted on T-Nation! You will get shredded fast! 28 days!

It is mind boggling to me that people are amazed they are losing weight eating 500 kcals per day. What else is going to happen?

HCG is a peptide hormone and not sublingually or orally bio-available it is all placebo.

if you eat 500 kcals per day you will lose weight and starve.

I've looked at the Velocity diet on t nation, thought about trying it but it's expensive as far as I'm concerned. Have you used it? how do you know it gets you shredded? Any before/after pics, apart from those on their site.

I didn't use their products because it was so expensive. I also modified it using BCAA's as well as a fiber supplement and I had solid protein every day because I'm a power lifter and I did not want to lose muscle for my competition. I was dropping to the 123 pound weight class and I started at 135 pounds and 15% body fat. I got down to 122 and 10% which was great but I had a hard time lifting at the meet. At that meet 2 years ago, I actually got 8 world records but my lifts were not my best! I have some after pictures that I will upload as soon as I get them on my website which is in progress. I love the velocity diet for someone trying to change their eating habits and it takes away a lot of the cravings you have for sugar. You feel like crap the whole time but the results you start to see keep you going! What are you looking to do for yourself? email me if you want and we can keep in touch. 500 cals a day is borderline dangerous and unhealthy. Especially if you are exercising with it.
