My wife is competing in figure Saturday 2 days from now. We are trying to figure out why her trainer has her doing 2 days in a row of carb loading. Is this accurate? I thought is was only 1 day load 2 to 3 days out?

Everyone is different , hell the same person might be different each peak.. Some people needs several days to load up fully , the coach might be wanting her to fill up then spill over so all that is needed is to deal with the water.
At this point there should have been several "loading" cycles so that they could time everything out perfectly.
