need somebody that is smart...

so, since i broke my collarbone, i will be off ATLEAST 12wks (FACK)...not srewing this up again!!

is there anything i can do to not lose too much size or even workout wise? what could i do for legs?? cant have anything sit on shoulder...PAIN... even straining causes good amount of discomfort, thus i will not do what i did last yr, and start off training one side at a time....IM GOING TO FULLYHEAL...

cardio recommendations>?

i agree with nosmas, just eat healty, and let your body heeeeel!!

look at it this way... do u wanna go through this for the rest of your life so u dont lose a little size??

or lose some size, let it heal, and it will be done with forever!!

Then get large and back in charge :p
 
I would rest as much as possible... Then consult with the doc and phyiscal therapist and when you can exercise in the water. In my opinion its the best way to strengthen things up basically without the chance of re-injuring yourself with weights. I tore my shoulder in highschool and rehabbed in the water quite a bit, I really enjoyed it.
 
I'm week 8 exactly today with a 12 week injury right now....I'm having a terrible time right now...except my injury in my right foot...

I can tell you how I feel from doing nothing for 8 weeks...My knee's are giving me the worse pain I've ever felt....

I would walk,do some cardio....keep your legs strong the rest will be easy...

I was able to start walking by 6-61/2 weeks or so....
 
If you have to do something to keep from going crazy, it seems like a light bicycle ride would be okay.
 
Yes...rest

and stay away from pot...next thing you'll be doing is watching certain daytime programs..Like Jerry Springer
 
From what I know the collar bone is one of the worst breaks. A bad
area to screw with so don't mess around see the surgeon then let it
heal completely.
