The anabolic effects of IGF-1 and GH are similar, since IGF-1 is what mediates most of GH's anabolic effects. However, you have to consider that people are using R3 and the doses are being shot IM (site-specific), which is going to give a much higher localized IGF-1 concentration than that which you'd see in response to GH induced IGF-1 level increases. The fat-loss properties are going to be almost exclusive to GH since for 2 reasons: 1) it's shot subQ 2) it has direct effects on adipocytes
IGF-1 should be shot IM. GH will give you more global and diverse benefits if shot subQ.

You can't use IGF-1 LR3 for more than 4 weeks ED, after that receptors will be severely downregulated.
You can use HGH for months ED (even years) and have results, accumulative results.
The "anabolic" effect will appear only if you add AAS to HGH.(same for slin,igf-1...)
HGH or IGF-1 by themselves can do very little in the anabolic aspect WITHOUT concurent use of AAS.

If you shoot HGH IM it will reach the bloodstream faster, so it will exert his action faster what is good after workout specially if you inject high doses (+10 IU) and you plan to inject IGF-1 and or slin later.
From a IM shot you won't have localized fatloss (obvious) but you will have systematic fatloss.
