Hiccups

I have really bad hiccups right now. Some one pointed out to me recently that I have been having hickups a lot.
It's gotta be T3 either that or test and EQ and I doubt it's the Test. My guess is T3?

I'm struggling with this now.....2 preps in a row it's happened. Rx baclofen helps but can make you drowsy.

I truly doubt its AAS related. Not a side effect I have heard about before. I would see a doctor if it continues.

I seriously doubt gear is giving anybody hiccups, unless they're drinking it!

I get wicked hiccups too. I found that sucking on a lime helped to stop them.

Tren gives me hiccups unless dose is very low.

someone once told me if you get bad hiccups for a period of time could be due to kidney trouble. Peanut butter is the cure def take a tablespoon eat it and hiccups no more well at least that normally works for me.

Is very possible. The main reason for hiccups is low levels of bicarbonate in your blood. Your kidneys and lungs are responsible for keeping a proper balance or both bicarbinate and co2 (acid).

This thread is a real eye opener to me to be honest!

I've trained with a lot of advanced bodybuilders over the years and I can't remember one incident of hiccups breaking out.

I feel sorry for "Tren", it gets blamed for a lot of stuff... now it's the culprit for hiccups too!

You're not on pain meds by any chance are you? I know they cause hiccups.

Yea Kidney trouble would be no bueno.Hate to see anything happen to ya Thunder. I know a er nurse was the one that told me that one sign of kidney failure was continuous hiccups. Can I swear that is true no but I do know if it was to continue def would be worth checking out.

Wow.... I just checked Kidney failure symptoms:

Bloody stools
Breath odor and metallic taste in mouth
Bruising easily
Changes in mental status or mood
Decreased appetite
Decreased sensation, especially in the hands or feet
Fatigue
Flank pain (between the ribs and hips)
Hand tremor
High blood pressure
Metallic taste in mouth
Nausea or vomiting, may last for days
Nosebleeds
Persistent hiccups
Prolonged bleeding
Seizures
Shortness of breath
Slow, sluggish movements
Swelling due to the body keeping in fluid
Swelling, usually in the ankles, feet, and legs
Urination changes:
Little or no urine
Excessive urination at night
Urination stops completely

it was like 4 hiccups in one, none stop. few days later I was in the ER due to kidney failure.

Over stimulation of dopamine / norepinephrine can cause hiccups.

T3 causes mild increase In dopamine.
I get them a lot because I use a DA and still addicted to nicotine. So if I use nicotine lozenge to close together I get them bad.

Gear can jank up some people and may cause this bit I doubt it's the problem

i thought i was the only 1 who got hiccups from gear..it seems to effect a lot of people here and is something that needs to be looked at. i had near kidney failure too and im having hiccups and other gastro probs as well

Hiccups are usually thought of as a funny bodily function, but they can clearly also be an indicator that something is going seriously wrong!

Thanks for posting your experiences in this thread, brother. I'm sure a lot of guys never realized any of this, myself included!

What's up with all the kidney failure in this thread and just on general? Can you guys comment in the cause and what happened?

Untreated uncontrolled hypertension is the main cause for kidney failure. I work in an ER and I couldn't tell you how many men in their 30's with uncontrolled hypertension that I have seen come in with renal failure (not body builders)
