How many days a week do you train??

I'm 5 weeks into my 3rd cycle and currently weight train 4 days a week:

Mon - Chest, Shoulders, Triceps
Wed - Quads, Hams
Fri - Back, Bis
Sat - Calves, Traps, Abs

...and I try to get in cardio whenever I can.

Is 4 days a week ideal for growth?
 
I train 4 days a week as well. I went from training 6 a week to 4 and i noticed more strength and better growth. That's just me.

5 Days for me! M-F and weekends off. 1 Bodypart per day. Go to town on it and it rests for a week.

same here ...i do switch it up though and do 3 days a week or 4 days ...

HAHA! Because it's YOUR plan Balla! Well it's the one you posted in your beginners 101 thread anyway. I do like it, even though I find I have a REALLY tough time keeping the workouts under an hour.

Guess I feel like my growth on this cycle isn't what it ought to be and I'm trying to find the culprit. My guess is the diet, so I'll spend more time on that.

O and the hour thing, i dont have a problem at all anymore, i go to the gym when there isnt so many dumb fucks there and everything is put up not spread all over the fuckin gym! i get in and get out. i fi do cardio that night im there a bit longer but weights have been 30 min to an hour max. i also workout alone
 
5 days a week because if i miss a day im depressed all day. First thing in the morning, takes me an hour to get there! lol

even with the warmup im done in 45min-1hr.

Thanks for all the feedback. My gym is loaded with dumbfucks. I'm just doing my best trying not to be one. HA!

The routine you posted (and the one I follow) Balla, still doesn't make sense in that in seems like I'm doing half of the work, but I'm still seeing great strength gains. My bench is up from 295 to 345 in 6 weeks with comparable gains everywhere else. I know the routine and the gear are working, BUT I've only gained maybe 6-8 pounds. They are definitely lean pounds as I've gained no BF or water weight whatsoever. Is this normal??

I know, I know... you need more info on me right and the cycle. No time to post that now, off to work. I'll post that in another thread.

if u have gained 6-8 pounds in 6 weeks from the start of ur cycle then ur doin damn good bro!
 
Yeah? I definitely need to post some before and current pics (after I take 'em) for feedback. I just can't help but have that feeling like I should be getting bigger quicker. Maybe I just need to get back on track and ride the patience train a little bit.

I'll be back with more info.

well im sure u know, diet and reast is a HUGE part of growing along with the right workout, juice doesnt make u blow up to be some monster. some ppl gain 30 lbs but they simply lose 70% of it bc its mostly water.

but ya for sure post up more info bout urself stats, pics, diet, training/how long, pre cycle history etc etc etc

also the cycle ur on now and im sure ppl alot more knowledgable then mysel fwill chime in as well
 
Hell, 1-1.5 lbs p/wk lean mass gains is fucking good! what are you complaining about? Eat more good quality calories and take advantage of this growth spurt. So you finally worked it out that you do not have to train seven days a week 3hrs a day to grow!! HAHA! More is not always better ya know!
