How to decrease waist size?

I successfully got my waist down back to when i was 18yrs old 29" recently. I think these things will help shrink down your waist (only if its already expanded from you eating/training/gear/ect... habbits):
1) eat A LOT less, more frequent, try to avoid feeling full. Especially to the point where it hurts, or you feel like you cannot even move! Eat just until your not hungry any more. Massive amounts of complex carbs make me feel like I'm stretching out the lining of my stomach. Do not eat when you are not hungry.
2) vaccumes I think do work to a small degree
3) Avoid GH, Slin, IFG, MGF, ect... none of this was around during the small waist bbing era, why do you need it now unless your tryign to be a top level bber?
4)Avoid resistance training on your core, at least with weight that is heavier then you could replicate with your body weight. The only weight I ever use on my core is a 25lb for side bends/twist, and I do extremely high reps.
5) eat a lot of fiber, garlic, probiotics to avoid candida (build up of yeast/infection in the gut)

I'm sure there are more but this is all I can think off

dave, impressive that you can get that shredded w/o gh.

maybe i'll try this season without it.

uh no

Vacuum. There is a full article on it actually in the new MD. 3 pages. Go buy it. I believe its called a valsalva maneuver.

The vasalva manuever is when u hold ur breath and expirate at the same time. Lifters use it to stabilize there torso when lifting. Which raises ur systemic blood pressure outrageously!!

My opinion, dont do abs with weight only bodyweight, never do obliques, and I dont use a belt anymore. People say it helps keep ur waist small... well if ur abs/obliques arepushing out against the belt and it doesnt move that to me is resistance. Muscle needs a stimulus or breakdown to induce growth. Last but not least, graze in the offseason... dont eat till u explode

gooey

You are to some extent. Don't tell me this is genetics or I'll post up pics <1998:

lol! Ok your right, I was not talking about decended bellies.:D I was just thinking of the waist line...............

I think you should also take a page out of dancer's books and look at exactly how your are working your abdominals. I took dance class and the teacher constantly reminded me, that when I was working my core(ab work) to keep my stomach in tight and squeezed in. I definately let my stomach poke out when I was doing core work before she got on my case.

Good point, never thought about it that way, that could be one of the many reasons ronnies waist got even bigger.
