I have a weird question and wondered if you guys had any thoughts on it. I may come off sounding like a complete idiot but that's never stopped me before..
Basically there are three problems with the whole hyperplasia thing and igf drugs:
1) They are too unstable and short-acting to do much good at a cellular level. To much gets destroyed too quickly.
2) They get altered when trying to increase their stability and half life and then become potentially unusable by the cells. i.e. with mgf, adding PEG to it, if not done just right, can make the mgf itself too large/heavy to fit into the cells. And, making igf-1 into igf-1 lr3 totally changes the structure of it to something the body doesn't use as efficiently.
3) They aren't being introduced into the cells in a way that causes hyperplasia. i.e. the results seen with mgf in rats was because it was introduced in some kind of hyper powered injection blast, not normal type injections.
Ok, so my question is: What about putting regular mgf, rigf-1, and des igf-1 in an oil based solution instead of water? Most things that are water soluble are also oil soluble. Would it make it more stable and leave it still usable?
If a person did this it would mean that the "depot" of oil would slowly release over the course of several days, or at least several hours vs a few minutes. But, would it just go systemic once absorbed, or would the slow exposure of the various igf's actually stimulate surrounding satellite cells into being activated?
