IGF: RECEPTOR vs. MEDIA

ok guys it has begun. here is a refresher on how things were done last time on the media grade and any other factors that will come into play during the receptor run. (mods if this should be in the article or peptide section feel free to move it, will be a 6-8 week thread hopefully)

last run media grade - mon/wed/fri 15mcg per shot 4x per day
dosing with receptor grade will be exactly the same based on almostpro's advice. again all shots will be IM in the bi's and tri's, measurements will be documented to check for site specific growth, and strength gains will also be noted.

factors different from last run - diet calorically is the same but the nutrient ratios this time are precise and measured. training pretty close to the same. i am running liquid aminos throughout the day which i did not last time.

starting weight this time is 245, last time i was 252 but bloated and pushing the edge of being to fat. so i am 7lbs ligher but have added several lbs of muscle due to phil hernon so the body composition is different but i feel this a good thing as i will be able to see changes in my physique better. arms are measured cold and currently 19 1/4.

igf started monday so let the games begin.

one thing i want to note despite what the outcome may be i will be totally honest about what results i see. i could imagine the companies offering igf on this board could be affected by any outcome and i respect that but the truth must be told or atleast the truth as i see it. basically what i am trying to answer is receptor grade worth double the money.
 
Im certainly interested in hearing your honest opinion from your experiences with both.

1/2 way thru 1st week only 2 days of injections, getting that fuller muscle look and a horseshoe shaped vein surfaced on the outside of the tricep.:)

did legs last night with eatbigtogetbig and we killed each other the slaughter only lasted about 3-4 sets and we were done. 1 high rep set with 405, 1 medium set with 500. then a set of 100reps on an old ass leg press with 400lbs. (eatbig actually did 120reps but i got him on the squats) managed a set of milos sarcev leg curls then wanted to cry.
 
oh and i dont know but i am hungry as hell already, got 8 meals in yesterday, thank god today is thanksgiving. each one of my meals is exactly 560 calories so doing a minimum of 3360 and up to 4480 calories per day depending on how many meals i get down. again i do not eat to bulk i am eating a diet that will allow me to drop fat and gain lean tissue at the sametime so the calories are not really the focus the nutrient balance is the focus.

middle of week 2 nothing yet really to report. alittle more vascular and fuller. appetite has increased though i dont know whether to contribute that to the igf or the diet increasing my metabolism. weight is up about 1.5lbs could still be from thanksgiving.

Thanks, Edge, 4 this log. It's fantastic that ur trying ur best to keep the nutrition, training, anabolics variables as similar as possible to ur first run. If not, then such difference will confound the results, statistically speaking.

I ran media a couple months back and loved it. Just got 2 kits of receptor b/c it was it was only $25 ($95 vs. $120) more than media from my source. Had heard from my friend, Grunt76, whose spent a huge amount of time researching igf that receptor should be twice as strong as media and thus u can make it go twice as far. UR current run will help determine whether this is true or not.
 
beginning of week 3. i now sleep about an extra hour each night. appetite is still up, holding at 247. strength is up hit another "pr" on floor press's last night, even side laterals took a jump. so far no noticeable difference between media and receptor that i can see, still to early though. either way i love igf.
