ok here is my work out i start tuesday tommorow!!
i currently weigh 175 i hope to carve it all down to about 155-160 and rid myself of the gut and to pick up the man boobs that are forming i'm a marine i used to be about 185 hard muscle now i've fallen off track i want my body back!!! i'm on a low carb diet to help the tummy go away

i eat oatmeal and boiled eggs with a turkey sausage for breakfast.
Light lunch protein bar and a meat and veggie dinner and protein shake


I'M NEW TO BODYBUILDING SO I'M OPEN FOR ALL SUGGESTIONS I WANT TO SEE PROGRESS OR I'LL PROBABLY GIVE IN!!
SO ALL OF YOU PROS THAT KNOW HOW TO CUT FAT AND TONE THE BODY PLEASE HELP A BROTHA OUT

Big A posted some GREAT info that MANY people pay for.

Your body seems to catabolizing from not eating enough - using(losing) muscle/gaining fat. At a minimum - YOU NEED TO EAT 5x Every Day. And it needs to be the proper macronutrient breakdown. If you don't fuel your body properly, you won't reach your goals - regardless of everything else.

Big A covers this in his articles but most people read right past it, or don't think it's an important element. Your body is gonna need more food to support additional muscle. If you don't give it proper nutrition while your trying to gain muscle - what is it going to grow from? PLENTY of skinny people that are strong or hard workers :p ;) :)

what i was trying to say is do i have good suppliments i tried to go with something that is almost sold out thats my way of knowing that someone out there likes the product i went to gnc thursday to get the animal cuts i got the last one and the guy working said they got there shipment on monday 5 boxes of 20 so he sold 100 cans in 4 days
 
Well I'm no expert but...

I have been on here for a while now, no where near as long as my esteemed friends who have commented, but let me see if I Can give you a little help.

First your protien intake, from what I see here is way to little. I weigh right now 240 lbs and I take in about 350 grams of protien per day. If you are trying to grow muscle you will need to take in at least 1.5 grams of protien per pound of body fat per day. And the protien MUST be spread out through the day (That advice I recieved from Excel) Even on days you are not working out.

Second you said you are trying to loose wait. Now I do not own a metabolism. All my life I have ben heavy and it is a continued struggle every day to stay at the 10% BF I am at now. I have found that, and this might not be true for all, that if I set a goal to not eat after six pm every day (mistakes happen) and than drink ice water after that until bed it helps me maintain my weight better. Just something to try.....

Another thing I use to control my weight is my food/work journal. Not all have them, in fact most I see in the gym don't write down there work out or what they eat. If you are truly dedicated to losing the weight you can do this. The one I bought "bodyminder" which I got at GNC is perfect for it. If you keep track of everything you eat...you will know when you hit the plateu for you dailey caloric intake as well as all the nutrients you need for proper growth. I.e. Protien

Here is one review of animal stack. It is a good mix, but I what I noticed is missing is Glutemine....I don't see it anywhere, and with you starting up again specially, you will want to take this before and after your workouts. Also next time you get a chance check out No-Xplode its real fun in the gym also.

Hey just looked at your workout.....one day of cardio WILL NOT DUE IT for loosing wait. Try taking that hour and adding it to every day of your week. Than you are on track.

5footer that was a awesome review of well ...me.... i have figured that i need to move wednesdayss and make it my arm day just so my gym time don't go over 1.5 hrs i can stay within 30-45mins that way if i move tricep bicep and forarm to one day and do cardio every day at a minimum of 30 mins i also went to a nutritionist today and found out what i need to be doing in order to lsoe fat and gain a toner body with an added 10-15lbs of muscle. and they told me to keep up the wieght training and watch my CALORIES they said i need to burn more than i take in daily so therefor continue my protein add more water to the diet and also do eat late. and i have come off the no carb diet i'm just watching my daily calorie intake
 
Carb Diet

The carb diet is well a fad that does not concern bodybuilders. I have seen some including big a i believe say that carbs dont matter, except for staying under 300 per day...... I believe that carbs specially before and after works outs help in the stopping of the canabalization of muscle as well as the regulating of blood sugar and neromuscular transport (im hypoglisemic). It is important to be cognicent of the carbs you are eating though....... anything bleached, basicly anything not organic is extremely bad for you in many ways.

Try and drink at least a gallon of water per day...helps alot and fights those nasty food cravings.

I heard this and some one will comment I am wrong.....If you drink water that is 49 degrees farhenhite it takes one calorie of energy to tern each (something) to body temprature. So it will also aid in loosing more calories. Someone confirm this and fill in the blanks.
 
i didn't know the whole water thing either my wife made the comment today that i look diffrent i guess all i really needed to do was get off my can and grab the steel again if there is anyone out there that know of a good work out schedule for 5 days a week and 2 bp a day that won't cause the next day of lifting to start off with the same muscle \s seeming tired let me know
 
Look Up the Doggcrap

Doggcrap routine will work perfect for you and give you more time for cardio since you take every other day off for recovery....

I dont have the link handy...but it works great just look it up there are MANY posts on here.
 
is it possible to add definition as well and a little bulk to a body at the same time i currently lift as heavy as i can get 3 sets of 10 reps usaually the last set i struggle to get 8 or nine i was getting to 6/7 but i guess i've gotten a little stronger b/c i push the weight up a couple more times

That's not good. You will canibalise muscle that way. If you go to bed at 10pm and you dont' eat after 6, you have 4 hours without food before bed. If you go to sleep at midnight, you will have 6 hours without food! Not a good idea.

You can certainly eat after 6pm and lose fat, as long as you eat protein and no fats and carbs.

Any workout schedule where you train 5 days straight is not conducive to muscle growth and it's a quick way to overtraining.

You can add muscle and lose fat at the same time, but the end result will not be as great as if you lose fat first only and then you add mass only (as in you concentrate on each thing at a time).

Supplement industry is not like any other industry. 99.99% of customers are totally uninformed. So they believe any marketing campaign that they see.
If a product is sold out doesn't mean that it is good at all, it means that it's marketing campaign is good - perfect example MuscleTech products.

Ask around and from word of mouth (not the store clerks) you will find which supplements are the best. There are very few, as 99% of supplements out there don't even meet label claims.
