Importing possibly clothing

I have been dying to venture off and try something fora while now.. as most, i need something without a lot of startup that could possibly grow a little.

I was thinking about trying to import some trendy clothing or even good nock off's ( polo lacoste ) and start up a small website plus local sales.. possibly hand some cards around locally out at bars etc, and see if anything happens.. im not sure if it would work, but there is a pretty decent market around my area and the internet is pretty much unlimited as well. anyone know how you would go about finding an exporter for something like this?

i guess im just bored and wanna get rolling and try something.. you only learn from failure is the way i see it!

you can find cheap textiles in countries like indonesia/thailand/china but you have to go there yourself and scout for bargains anf goods...importing knock offs is not wise its not as easy as before there are new laws on this and your goods may get seized...make your own brand or import no name quality goods...alex
