Although the man was 300lbs ripped and was robbed,
He has finally had his day in the sun!
It couldnt happen to a nicer guy. He would be a great representative to the sport! I met him at the Arnold, stood on line to get a pic with him. He was so nice to everyone laughing and joking. That smile never left his face! And it was genuine. And the babes were a-swooning!
Congrtatulations to the big guy and wishing continued luck to him in the future. You cant help but be happy to see him finally get some well-deserved recognition.

On that particular night Gunter was at the top of his game. All other competitors, although very good, were off quite a bit. Particularly Ronnie and Chris. Gunter in my mind is the 2002 Mr. O

Was THE man of the evening!
It is so good for the sport to have a guy like that (who was obviously ripped off for at least a 2nd placing if not 1st) still be a great competitor and thank his fans and the crowd for the support that they gave him that night.
I too got to meet him at the Arnold. Seemed as though he would go out of his way to take time for his fans.
Definitely a crowd favorite, and since I'm such a tall guy myself in this sport at 6'2", he shows me that I can accomplish tremendous size and great aesthetics, symmetry.
I'm on my way now fellas! hehehe.

Go to getbig.com and check out the judges scoring... he was overlooked until the 3rd round. Hopefully the judges will give him more respect and we will see him fight ronnie at the GNC show in 2 more weeks. Next year.... RONNIE, GUNTER, CUTLER is going to be one crazy ass olympia. I think one more year of training is going to put ronnie in 3rd... we will see though.

What did everyone think of kamali 17th? All that smack talk and now the tail is probably between his legs.

I agree...Gunter is a cool guy.

I met him and he talked with me for about 30 min. Really nice guy. Plus, he gets screwed over a lot. When I asked him about it he said, " all I can do is keep coming in better and better and hope the judges notice. Finally, he get some recognition................about time.

I do like him cause he's a huge, good looking white guy! hahahaha......
