is PCT absolutely needed ?

I am starting to wonder if PCT is really worth is!?I know people, I mean into IFBB pros who never do for the simple reason that once u stop clomid (for ex.) then ur body has nothing and is just striving to go back to normal level therefore, according to them it would be just better stoping and wait so ur body has a sort of a shock and then produces testo again on its own.
Personally I have done both ways and experienced about 6 months to get back to a normal level, according to blood exams.
At the end of my cycle (propio) I did the 3 weeks of HCG and nolva followed by then another 3 weeks of clomid didn't bring me more.
Any thoughts? maybe my PCT was badly done (?)
ps. those who never do PCT are also never off juice (I would assume!) so no need for PCT really... right?

I know people who are on all year on so that probably explains it all

When I see them at 50, 60, 70 and they are 100% healthy, then I will believe that it is good never to come off and letting your natural hormones kick in.:rolleyes:
 
Well....

i would hate to see myself without the proper pct....talk about mood swings, and hot flashes. It would be like going through menopause. :D I feel it is very important for overall health to come off and let your body work its own magic. If cycling and pct is done right some people wouldn't need hrt at 25 years old. Its all about moderation, and thinking longterm. Just my opinion.
And there will always be people who can benifit from HRT at a young age. This is in no way a shot at anyone on HRT.

i know lots of poeple who now swear by no PCT..for me i cant seem to feel right if i dont throw in a PCT after my cycle...i would just crash let alone diminish gains..
 
your all overthinking this. its necessary because
1)you body lacks its own ability to produce endogeneous testosterone after coming off steroids.
2) certain steroids aromatize in the body converting to estrogen and DHT.
3)without your normal levels of testosterone being present post cycle you WILL NOT BE ABLE TO HOLD ANY GAINS.

this is by no means a complete or extremely accurate list of reasons it is simply to drive the point home....Do not question weather or not to use PCT. Just do it. you wouldnt try to get big legs without squatting would you?
If your not willing to use AAS responsible and properly, including proper pct you have no business even touching them. forget what ur "friends" say. DO YOUR HOMEWORK! and as for the "pro's" who say they dont use it, i simply do not believe that, i believe some may use a test taper at the end of a cycle but i guarantee you that every one of them has nolvs, clomid, hcg, a-dex, all on hand and im going to guess 97%of them USE IT instead of test taper.

the idea of not doing a PCT is that once u come off your 'PCT Cycle' then ur body is left alone and only then has to learn how to do it alone and without stuff it can't (this is the theory not me saying it) so no point wasting one or 2 months doing a PCT.
However I will do one, follow the protocole with HCG, Nolva and then clomid but... will be back on juice 2 months later, max after the end of my last cycle, the gap is actually the time I took for that PCT (about) sounds good...no? btw my last cycle was 9 months long non stop and everything was fine, didnt even use anti-estrogen, just zinc and went up to 1 gr. of enanthate per week:D

yes, damn right! that's the 'theory' and also the point of my post I'm not sure, I was a bit lost as I have tried with and without it but I guess this is for people who do a few short cycles a year and then have breaks not for people who are on most of the year. But whatever u do I believe your body will react better if there's been a short break, at least that resembles like one...ur receptors, etc...will react more efficient. So no I am not saying u have been doing wrong for 10 yrs, maybe u were right and if so I dont wanna do a mistake for 10 yrs of not doing it!the aim is really to keep gains, the rest has never been a problem, never felt anything, it's only the blood tests that showed me where I stood
 
The bottom line is that this is PROFESSINAL MUSCLE and there is no veteran here whose been in this game for alot longer that you and i that will tell you that it is ok to not use pct. the answer that you want to hear is not always the right answer. just do the pct. you playing with your health. all the muscles in the world wont matter if you risk your health.

there's no answer I wanna hear. I am curious and dont know the answer really...I wish I did!! however I will do a PCT coz I aint got nothing to lose but I don't know if it's not just a waste of time and money and energy ?anyway (?) we'll see!!....
 
IS PCT necessary?? I would say it depends on your cycle length.. If you ran a 4 week cycle.. Then there would be no need for a PCT regimen.. You would also avoid receptor cell oversaturation and you can start your next cycle within 4 to 6 weeks..

What cycle are you running that is only 4 weeks?
 
woaw!4 weeks is a joke! mine was 38 weeks non stop
doing 4 weeks is not worth it and therefore a waste of time doing a pct because that will be even longer than the cycle it self...
 
Have u ever tried one?? Think about it.... Within the first couple of weeks is when u experience incredible strength gains, muscle cell saturation, and weight gain... After the 4 to 6 week mark is when your strength gains tend to taper off, side effects begin to occur, your muscle cells are completely saturated.. Usually at this point you have already gained 5 to 15 lbs, depending on what type of cycle you have taken... Why not get out now and take the gains you got?? You still have on average another two weeks until the cycle dissipates from your system... So you got yourself no sides, no unnecessary bloat (minimal at the least for some people who are extremely sensative, and probably a good 3 to 5 lbs of muscle.... With such a short cycle, you can usually hop back on after a 4 to 6 week break...

Im not arguing with the traditional 8 to 12 week cycle.. Someone really close to me, used to do these... He would have to worry about sides, negative effects on health, and plateaus on strength and weight gain.. He tried the 4 week cycle and ran it 3 times last winter and kept himself 7 quality pounds of muscle and didn't get too bloated..
 
no side effects and have kept all gains so far but that's the whole purpose of my post. Now that it's over, will do a PCT or simply go back on juice two months later? that's why I'm wondering about the use of PCT when u can go back.
It is true that after a few weeks, something like 8-10 weeks u get saturated but then u change compound and u r fine...
