iTunes transfer?

recently just bought a new laptop. does anyone know of a good program to transfer and entire itunes from one laptop to the other?

How to back up your media in iTunes

is that any good for you? How big is the library?

If it's massive then i would copy the itunes folder onto an external hard drive and then hook the external hard drive up to the new laptop and copy the itunes folder onto that overwriting the original one on the new lappy.
Make sure you copy and not cut cos if things go wrong (which they shouldn't) you wont lose anything.

All depends on the size, if it's massive then it's going to be better getting a bigger external hdd.

that's the easiest best way imo

copy old itunes folder form old pc on a flash drive or external hard drive. Replace the new itunes folder on new pc with the itunes folder on the flash or external hard drive. Open itunes on new pc and viola! Transferred!

Most of these are simple "plug and play" pieces of software. The second you plug your ipod into your pc or laptop and you have itunes already loaded. It opens up your itunes for you. If you checked the box that says "back up upon start" (or something like that) then every time you plug your ipod into your pc it will start to back or load your stuff from your ipod to your pc or laptop automatically. And vice versa, if you have stuff on your laptop or pc and plug your ipod in then it will down load from your itunes to ipod.

I use a program called iPodAccess. It lets you upload everything on your iPod or iPhone onto the pc. So just sync everything from your old computer to your iPod then run iPodAccess on your new laptop. You can also use this to get music off your friends iPod's too. Easy way to expand your music collection.
