Keeping RBC count in check

How do you keep them in check?
Even on my standard trt dose of 200mg test c weekly my rbc count is high (not extremely high... but still higher than "normal").

So if I donate now (while I'm "cruising") I have to wait "x" number of months before I can donate again.

I rather donate whilst blasting when my rbc is really high....

But it seems like no matter what I do my rbc count is high even whilst cruising...

Look at it this way ... the sooner you donate the sooner you can donate again, so no need to hold off.

If you are blasting, then you may have to lower your cruise dose to keep your RBC down over the long run.

When you donate do the “Power Reds” donation. It actually takes double the amount of RBCs as a regular whole blood donation.

only way i know to keep RBC in check is by donating. The sooner the better. I did read an article before about someone using a buterfly or something like that while at home to do it. But i also think the guys wife was a nurse. For safety and sanitary reasons, i would just go to an approved location.

It’s called blood letting. You can google it and get the explanation.

I brought my hemocrit level from 5.1 down to 4.7 by eating a grapefruit everyday as well as green tea the drink and the extract. Goolge it. More than one way to skin a cat.

I too was able to bring my crit down by drinking grapefruit juice everyday. Now I just donate.

1. TRT dose low enough to trough at 700 ng/dL (100 mg/w for me)
2. Donate before a cycle and 8 weeks into a cycle.
3. Do bloodwork to monitor your iron stores.
4. Spend 1/2 the year at TRT dose.
5. If you recover well come right off for stints of 8-12 weeks.

You can donate every 8 weeks. You want to keep your iron in range or a whole host of other problems can ensue like anemia. So, you don't want to over donate. Don't smoke b/c that will push the red cells up higher. Live at altitude will also drive them up. Keeping the hematocrit/RBCs in ragne will guard against high BP.
