I woke up and realized that once again I'd have to face what my life has become!

I have become a snow removal machine! Every day for two weeks........... Yes, I am bitching! It wouldn't be so bad if I could stroll out once in a while and say, "Oh, my look at the beautiful snow, the winter season is such a joy!" Bah! My back has a completely different message to share. The message is, "Piss off, I am tired of this, bozo!"

My back workout this morning was 10sets of 10 reps with the 100lbs Dumbells.

The exercise was one arm dumbell rows.

When I looked out and saw all that snow, I realized that I'd better choose something lower back friendly. So I did them with a knee up on the bench and tried to keep my rests short. I would have done pulldowns but I don't have one of those here at the apartment.

I got done and went out and started shoveling. I didn't need to do cardio, that I can tell you with absolute certainty.

This is looking directly outside of the "Sun Room" where I do most of my half assed workouts during the winter months.

I have to shovel a path through that crap, around the right side to get to the cars. There was three feet of snow in front of our door, blocking it shut.

The garage is under attack as you can see.

-15 degrees here right now as I type this. I go out and start the cars once in a while just to keep them warmed up.

I can belt out some Metallica tunes while walking on the treadmill though. This usually has my girl friend shutting the door so she can hear the t.v.

I guess she's has grown tired of my vocal abilities.

As lifters I am sure you can relate to my annoyance at all the shoveling.

I've been on vacation for a couple weeks. All this snow and wicked weather has been my constant companion. I did heavy rows and rear delt raises right at the beginning of the vacation. The next day it snowed a pile and I went out and shoveled for over an hour and my back hasn't been good since. It's affected more than my workouts. Plus, it's not like I can just say screw it I am not shoveling today because I can't get the damn door open or pull the car out of the drive way to get food if I don't get off my ass and get out there! lol.

I am doing chest tomorrow so I shouldn't be hitting my back twice.

This afternoon I did biceps and forearms and walked on the treadmill for 41 minutes...10 incline...3.0 speed. Nothing great, but I don't want you all to think I am a fat lazy sucker. [ I know the initial pic of my fat face might have you thinking, "Geez the bloated pig should spend some more time out there because he could stand to burn some more calories!"] But, that's not the reason I am fat...it's the constant feeding!

We did have a white Christmas and my girl came home from college so I still had a good vacation. All is well. I could be stuck up here unloved and overweight with a chocolate chip cookie addiction.

Here she is making pies and wishing I'd quit bugging her. Don't have much going on tonight...I am getting hungry again!

Great pics! We just had 2-3ft of snow too.....I put the beers in the snow bank to keep them chilled while we shovel snow........Then I kept off roading around the block in my 4x4.....
My wife just looked at me like I was stupid, But after I got it out of my system I too just wanted it to go away........

It is minus 20 farenheit here as well....My neighbor was away for vacation, and i figured id shovel his driveway for him while he was gone, then he would have a happy feeling coming home to a freshly shovelled drive and walkway.....He was gone for 10 days, it snowed several times up here in Canada (go figure eh?) i shovelled 4 times , 2 to snowfall and 2 times because of wind, snowdrifts, broke 1 brand new shovel ....He was very happy when he arrived home to a fresh shovelled drive, I was frozen, dry chapped lips, and out 1 shovel....lolol...
Do you guys have block heaters down there to plug your hot rods in and keep your engines warm while this cold??
