Ok well Ive been a member here for quite sometime and I haven't been posting much lately and it seems that me posting here and me getting in the gym and working hard go hand in hand for some reason (not complaining because i love reading here and trying to interact).

That being said, as you can imagine my gym performance has been terrible and I haven't really been consistent since summer around June or July of 08.
There are a few issues for this I just got out of school and Ive been trying to get on my feet and I'm already trying to switch careers. Ive always had weight issues if i don't work out i just gain it but Ive finally decided to take charge turn things around and get back into some type of shape

Ive felt the swing in my attitude and diet in really feeling like the old fire lit back underneath me I have an awesome "first day" back at the gym today and I'm feeling on cloud 9 about it I weighed in at 250 I'm usually around 225-230

Im going to be brave and post some pictures some old ones to show what i used to look like...none are impressive by far but still its something I would like to work towards because my current physique is far from what I want and I cant believe I let it get this out of hand really...

So first here are some old Before and After Photos of me....

take your best shot...leave your best critique or anything you feel....

Thanks for reading my ramble and helping me get a kick in the rear to get back on my feet

Sounds like you are ready to get back in the water.......I will say you have the right attitude now, and just need to get lean....what I've learned from Phil and others, is you should start with nutrition....I used to just work out with not much guidance...well, I already look so much better from listening, learning from the more experienced on here and at home.

Nice improvements. Good structure. If i were you i would stay a bit leaner. Weak points from what i can see are your biceps. Any leg shots?

Yea ive been working on getting lean....its always been my biggest issue Ive always been strong and had the will but nailing down a solid diet has always been a tough obstacle for me...im not bad...but im not great....

Those are older pics im gonna try to muster up some energy to take some new ones tonight to show where I am at right now,

My biceps have just alwayssss been an issue no matter what i would try and no matter how hard i work them and rest them and everything they are just always lagging.

leg shots and everything will be going up soon...but in the mean time Thanks for taking the time and for leaving some input

Also I started using an ECA stack from Phil today right now im 5'11" 250lbs and im guessing 25+% B.f.

Courage is a big part of what we do and having the dedication to get back into the gym will take you far. I wish I had pics of me going from 275 at 17 % bf in college to 309 at 30+ % then all the way down to 202 right now. Stick with it and if looking in the mirror seeing results doesn't drive you keep posting pics and we'll make you feel good. good luck

Honestly I think one of the biggest problems I have had was I recently moved and I no longer have a mirror in my room, sounds weird I know but when you don't see your fully body everyday I think it just lets you become more apathetic and less proactive

Keep doing what Phil asks you and you will look good. It is good that you posted your pictures, you definitly should give us progrees pictures down the road. Keep at it and stay committed!
