Meso-rx classifieds closed.. anyone using sources from there read.

The Classifieds Forum will be closed indefinitely. After extensive discussions with legal counsel, we believe this action was necessary for the continuing safety of MESO-Rx members and the future of the board. The political climate over the next few years does not portend an environment that is favorable for the anabolic-androgenic steroid (AAS) community.

I want to briefly discuss my reasons for closing the Classifieds Forum. At the onset, I want to state that none of the following concerns are new. Particularly, over the past year there have been several indicators suggesting a Government trend toward greater enforcement of the Anabolic Steroid Control Act (ASCA). Rick Collins, author of Legal Muscle and outspoken advocate of AAS legal reform, has authoritatively written about these concerns in a variety of publications. His analysis of the ASCA of 2004 and the Patriot Act and its relevance to bodybuilders and the AAS community is highly recommended reading. However, what I am about to relay to you gives strong support to his predictions regarding the future of AAS legal enforcement in this country over the next few years.

The MESO-Rx website has been monitored by individuals from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). The DHS has an active role in the government's re-invigorated crusade against AAS trafficking and AAS use; U.S. Customs is part of the DHS and any monitoring of this and related websites is likely researching illegal importation of pharmaceuticals.

The DHS and the DEA are also abusing the "United and Strengthening America by Providing Appropriate Tools Required to Intercept and Obstruct Terrorism" (aka Patriot Act). The Patriot Act is being cited in federal subpoenas to obtain information in secure email accounts used by AAS sources. These are NOT terrorists; these are AAS sources. Sources are currently being investigated under the authority of the Patriot Act.

The concern that the Patriot Act will be abused for purposes other than preventing terrorism is no longer a concern. It is now a reality.

None of the aforementioned statements are speculation. I have firm documentation that this is occurring.

Now that the Classifieds forum is closed, I ask that you do not use the other forums to post information about sources. This has been a long-standing rule here at MESO-Rx, and it remains in effect.

In closing, I want to emphasize that this is a preventive measure aimed at protecting your safety. In the meantime, please help the moderators by alerting us to any threads with source-related information in them, and please remind the posters (politely!) that this is not allowed.

no one should have been posting source info to start...i remember the good ole days, it was who you know and who knew you...thats why i never went on that board..

I agree...and I too never went there for that reason. there was another board similar to MESO...and they too got shutdown pretty fast..well a lot of the sources got busted(too much open sourcing).

i remember when you had to be referred to sources and then the source checked you out. when ry roid and i spoke frequently and he introduced me to so many that got me started. i didnt go out the next day and say hey everyone heres a legit source. keep it to yourself and only pass it to those you trust. thats how the domestics stay in business. no more, no less

I completely agree but those days are gone bro. With so many sources out there on the net willing to do anything to get a sale the business has just gotten too competitive to stay underground. I used to stay underground but even I couldn't do that any longer because your clients eventually come across a board with an open classifieds and see other sources there and wham!!! There goes your business.

Its a double sided coin. Yes you want to stay underground if you are a source, but when your clients are looking for the best deals and those deals are out in the open you have to confront it.

Its sad to say but this is the reality we face today. Gone are the day when it took 6 months to gain trust and have you referred to a source. Now you can just go to an open boar dlike outlaw and see hundreds of sources who you can do business with.

Just my 2 cents.

From my experiences as both a former source and a longtime member of the boards Those days look to be coming back. Many of the guys who have been around Choose not to you use the open sources even if they do have the better prices. A LOT of guys now days with the way things are getting are a LOT more worried about #1 Saftey and #2 Finding a good reliable source With REAL gear More so then a bargain rate. we all know shopping the open market and looking for the cheapest often leads to getting burned one way or another.

Theres always gonna be boards like Meso- Outlaw (a spinoff of anabolicboard
and meso) and they will always attract a certain group of people... Mostly newbies or sources along with what seem to be the latest addition .. department of homeland security. No thanks!

Ohh dont get me wrong..
Theres always going to be guys recruiting and open source posting Im not saying those days are soon to be gone. Im just saying its wiser to keep out of the public as much as possable even if it means less sales or customers.
And as far as choosing your source.. the ones I use now days have no idea
what a bodybuildingboard is,lol Except for Bv of course
