I had to come way down in weight to compete with the middles...as I took a long break from bodybuilding, well training period. I lacked the muscle to compete with the light-heaviest, so I kept it real and dropped down to 173lbs, that is where I felt comfortable at. This was about a 14 week prep, coming down from a happy/fat/sloppy 230lbs...I lost some "POP" in my muscle, but it was from a poor long 4 yr break from everything training, food, supps, and concentrating on my family and me.....
