I was wondering what some of you guys who compete feel the difference is. Can a person rely on Meal Replacement shakes? I've talked to alot of people that say you should try to eat mostly solid food and just use shakes here and there. While others use MRP heavily and say they are better than real food. for example, Skip Lacour claims that every other meal is a MRP. and with his solid food meals he does not eat an extreme amount of food but always throws in a regulare protein shake with it. I think he eats about 8 times a day. so that would be 4 solid meals(with protein shake) and 4 MRPs.
