My house is FINALLY going on the market!!

Well after months of working on my house I am finally done, and ready to put it on the market. I sanded the floors down, and put 4 coats of poly down. approx 1500 sq ft. Crown molding throughout the house. refurbed the kitchen cabinets. New ceramic floors in the bathrooms. New carpet for the entire downstairs. Painted upstairs and down stairs, and thats about 2800 sq ft. Painted all the windows outside. New blinds,curtains. Anyway I am ready to sell and move. I plan on going from NY to S Carolina. I will miss some things about NY, but I look forward to warmer weather. I certainly will miss the lake, as I have lake front property. All i had to do was walk out of my back door to catch 5 lb plus large mouth. I plan on moving close to the ocean, and plan on doing a lot more salt water fishing,shrimping; Something that was hard to do here being 2 hours from the shore. Here are a few pictures of my work

From the pictures it looks like you do nice work.

I have flipped a few homes as well. Doesn't it stink that we do all this work right before we sell it? I have learned to do whatever work I want to my houses while I am in them. I learned the hard way that I was doing all this work only for someone else to enjoy it.

Yeah I did pretty much the same workwhen i bought it 8 or 9 years ago. Time to do it again for the new owners! Dogs are house wreckers, but I wouldnt change it for anything in the world. I love my puppies!

great job on the house. I wish I had half of your know how. I inherited a falling- apart-jallopy in very nice NJ town that I'm slowly but surely trying to restore to grandeur. too bad im terrible with it.

Thanks...I hope i can find something similiar, as far as on a lake. i want to get something that needs a little work, because i like to make things my own.

Nice house and love what you did to it, the property itself should make the house a fast sell. Hope you find what you are looking for down south and I am pretty sure what you find you will fix up to your liking, wish I had that talent.
