Need help getting my body to relax

I've been pushing really hard in the gym the last few months. I've been on a string of new Pr's but it is coming with a price.

After my workouts my body feels absolutely amped up. Not in a stimulant type of way, but like my nerves are super activated, and I'm aware of every muscle in my body. It usually occurs after my workouts for several hours, but when it is before bed I can't sleep.

I have tried L-theanine, but it doesn't do much. I just need a way to get my body to chill.

Maybe it is because I'm getting older....

I was thinking about Kratom, or some other natural shit.
 
Love with my right hand before bed does it for me. I need it every night to go to sleep
 
Benadryl and 3 mg melatonin. Unless your'e on Tren Or Eq, They tend to amp you up.
 
KRATOM! (FIRST!) j/k never tried it. No seriously...never tried it.

You could try lying down in a cool quiet place (floor is fine) that is free from distraction and just close your eyes for 20 minutes or so. That might be enough to help you wind down.

Magnesium great too.
 
Does the 3g of melatonin give you vivid weird dreams? I don't smoke and rarely drink so I may try bigger doses of melatonin.
