Neosporin for acne

I suffer from something that i think a lot of us on here suffer from. Moderate to severe acne on my shoulders and back especially post cycle. I have something for everyone with this problem to try, Neosporin. Thats right good old fashioned neosporin. Ive been applying it to affected areas twice a dayy and I would say it controls outbreak by probably 70%. Plus with the Vitamin E it should help with any acne scarring. Has anyone else ever tried this?

For the acne i use neosporin but not the plain one if you truely want your acne to go away use the neosporin +pain relief

It gets rid of the redness and the acne

I use perscription face creame.

But my mother always swore by neosporin, I never tried it since my insurance is great and I was worried about the oiliness of it. But she swore by it, and her face was clear.

sadly enough i dont have insurance

so i dont go to the doctor as much

and being single and straining on money i was looking for everything i could get and what i used to do is get the neosporin +pain relif "i believe it was like 5 or 6 bucks for a tube" and put a thick layer on my acne before i went to bed...

and i dont have much acne anymore Even on a cycle i get little breakouts but the neosporin clears it right up!

Try Neutrogena Body Wash with a back scrubber brush. Change your bedsheets and pillow cases 3x a week. Drink lots of water. Tan in the tanning bed. I've had good luck with Clearasil Ultra Acne Cream. Good luck pizza back!!! J/K.

hmm never thought of using that. I used to get acne alot but i got a prescription for accutane and that works really well and i have had no side effects besides a little dry skin.

Neosporin is anti-bacterial, and stopping the bacteria is a major step in clearing up acne. I read an article by Dave Palumbo that said if you have problems with acne on your back and shoulders you should clean your bed sheets frequently, as this is a huge breeding ground for bacteria. Also use and antibacterial soap such as dial......

Yeah guys ive tried changing bed sheets, ive showered twice a day, ive done everything and everthing helps a little. But i'm telling you the neosporin works well. Its not 100% but if you do everything else AND apply neosporin twice a day you will be pleased. Its anti-bacterial AND has vitaminE for scarring. I will try the Neoaprin+pain that sounds like it works even better.

i've heard toothpaste can actually help but i've never tryed that

I use toothpaste if I get a pimple, I haven't done any cycles so I don't have any experience there.
But I put toothpaste on the pimple, leave it on overnight, and it is dried up and just about gone in the morning every time.
The hard part is keeping it on the pimple, I usually cover it with a small band aid so I don't know how well it would work for larger areas of acne.
