first 4 months i just cleaned up diet, no cardio, but got back into the gym training, kept upping intensity as i was definately out of condition.. got dwon to about 265 by jan 1.. then that's when i started getting serious.
first 8 weeks no cheat days.. didn't get concerned with carb timing and anything complicated, just high protien roughly 250g, 150g carbs spread out over first 4 meals.. last 2 meals just protien and green veggies.. 10g omega 3's/day and multivitamin.. also cardio 5 times/week..
then dropped carbs down a bit, upped protein and upped fat.. healthy fats, olive oil etc... cardio a bit more interval training..
now take a weekly cheat day and every week still 2lbs less than previous so i guess they are working for now..
all food always weighed to the gram, cook and pack it the night before..i'm self employed so always on the go, this was KEY for me.. preparation makes it a joke to stick to diet.
