Non-muscle related aesthetics - skin, teeth, etc

In my research into Kybella and fat dissolvers, I joined a lot of Facebook groups and subscribed to a lot of YouTube channels dedicated to aesthetics, because that's where you can find people talking about the subject. But they don't only talk about fat dissolvers, etc, they also talk alot about skin care, wrinkles, teeth, as well. Since I've been following interacting with this material, I've taken more of an interest in my own non-muscle related appearance. Some things I've picked up and started doing...

(1) Microneedling. This is skincare, to reduce wrinkles, increase smoothness and tightness, reduce scarring and uneven tone, etc. It works by creating a million little needle holes all over the skin, causing the body to respond by ramping up collagen production to remodel the surface. I've been using dernarollers - cheap little $10 devices that have a cylinder with 100-200 small needles on it that you roll over your skin to create all the punctures. But electric dermapens and dermastamps do the same thing, perhaps a little better. So far I have definitely noticed a reduction in scarring.

(2) Daily moisturizer. I use Cetaphil. It makes the skin look healthy, prevents aging, and helps promote healing from the microneedling.

(3) Once a week use of things like DMAE (skin tightening), retinol (promotes cell turnover and skin renewal/remodeling), etc. I can't use these every day because they dry my skin out. But I can definitely tell the skin around my eyes/eyelids has less wrinkles and looks tighter, and the retinol is fading some scars.

(4) daily use of a combo whitening/strengthening mouthwash after brushing, and upgrading to a very stiff bristle toothbrush. Also, about once every two weeks using a whitening pen or whitening gel. My teeth are significantly brighter and whiter now.

I thought about sharing some of this on here with you guys after watching a video today about how vitamin k2 is good for anti-aging, knowing that k2 has been discussed on here for it's ability to reduce arterial plaque, and thinking about how most everyone on here is concerned with their appearance and spends alot of time working on improving it.

Vitamin d3 and K2 is a must in anyone’s health anti aging protocol. There’s a plastic surgeon always talks about it as not only for the arteries but our facial bones.

I’m not an expert by any means but bone loss in the facial area causes us to look much older as we age

Penis. Fat. Pad.
That would be smooth muscle related 😉

Yeah the doctor (Rajani) whose video I watched on the subject said the same thing

Yea, GotGame was big on micro-needling, retin-a, sunblock, moisturizers, and skin rinsing. Oh...and hair stuff, lol. I use most of that stuff, except the hair stuff, and I have not yet used my micro-needling device i bought a few months back. I forgot I bought it until now:eek:

Anyone ever got smp?
I have a good friend that had it done like a decade ago.

Just looks like a normal dude that shaves his head rather than a fullblown que ball
I would have never known it was just a tattoo if he didnt tell me a year or so ago

Does the snap 8 peptide give the results it claims or even close to the claims?

Can you explain a bit more about the "fat dissolvers"? is this like all and local like buccal fat?

Scalp micropigmentation Aka hair tattoo. Google it. Shit looks amazing. Definitely gonna look into going that route soon.
Yup. Guy at the gym got it looks good.

To be honest I never got great results from any of those approaches. But yes they are basically just local injections of a bile salt (sodium deoxycholate).

My recommendation for anyone with local fat deposits that are stubborn is just bite the bullet and get liposuction. Its really quite affordable and the downtime is minimal. You can go back to working and working out within a few days if you aren't a little bitch. 😁

The most important and basic things for skin anti-aging and aesthetics is the following:

1. Regular use of a retinoid (Like tretinoin or tazarotene; basically topical accutane) This causes a massive increase in collagen content in the skin as well as the best complexion (thanks to increase cell turnover and other mechanisms including increased circulation in the skin and capillary density increase). The bonus is that it will prevent/reverse even severe acne. This stuff will give you a glow after 5 months of regular use as long as your skin is well moisturized. You MUST moisturize heavily for best results.
(Good dermotologists are obsessed with retinoids for good reason, they are the most potent anti-aging compound proven by science and over 50 years of research.)

2. Avoid excessive sunlight / use suncreen (sun breaks down skin collagen and increases an enzyme called metalloproteinase which breaks down collagen.

3. Keep IGF-1 in the youthful range. Generally +200 ng/mL (Can take 0.5-3 IU HGH daily for most people. lower doses can add to endogenous production and higher doses replace it). Also a good idea to not suppress estradiol excessively for bone and skin health. (Women get wrinkley, saggy, etc in menopause due to loss of estradiol and also lower HGH/IGF-1 levels with age)

The best medicine is prevention, reversing skin aging takes more work and not as effective but still possible (Tazarotene and tretinoin are proven to reverse and prevent aging / "photo aging"; wrinkles, sagging and fine lines).
