Need to bring my puppy on a 3.5hr flight one way. She is very small. Pug/beagle mix maybe 15lbs max 7months old. So I call SunCountry and they say they have to fit in a soft sided carrier 8" height by 16",etc.. anyway I picked one up but it seems really small. They only had one size that was 10" by 19" by11" but its soft and squishes so I doubt they will be that anal. Here is what I got

also whats weird is suncountry has a 16lb weight limit and u.s. airways has a 50lb limit but almost the same dimensions for the carrier. What 50lb dog can fit into something that small. seems odd
Anyway it seems like she is gonna have to be laying down to fit in there. I have to bring her to vet to get a "clean bill of health" the plane company told me and the vet will try a valium or something on her and if she responds well we'll give her one before the flight, but anyway, this is my first time doing this. Any advice? Do they really fit in front under the seat? I've never seen a dog on a plane so I wanna be prepared, so any advice is appreciated. Thanks
