O/T Fascinating Books about the earth;Man;God

My Dad has been reading a series of books (9 in total) by an author, Zecharia Sitchin and has told me a little bit about it. I have recently started reading them and really enjoying them. He has done 30 years of research on ancient Sumerian civilization. There are detailed records of who the Gods were and how man came to be. In a nutshell Aliens genetically engineered us. I know it sounds crazy but I'd recommend that you look at the research, records, and artifacts. If anything else it will be extremely entertaining.
