I just found this on my computer... a rear double bicep pic from 2005.

I was about 4 weeks out from my first show ever, and I think I was weighing about 175-180 or so.

I was so innocent back then.

Do you remember some of your lifts from back then? I would be interested to see what you were squatting and doing deads with then to now.

I don't really do squats anymore. I don't deadlift all the time either. I know I'm stronger than I was then, but it's not like I'm MASSIVELY stronger. The biggest factor between then and now is just consistency... in everything... diet, training, supplementation, recovery, etc.

Having a thick back...is this something you have always had? even when you were powerlifting?

I just wish I looked like you did at 175-180.

To a certain extent it's genetic but in that first pic I had already been weight training regularly for about 7 years, and eating pretty good too.

You sure have come a long way in those few years Shelby. The importance of consistency should be discussed more IMO.
