My anti-aging clinic offers it. It’s just too expensive. I know people complain about finasteride, but I’ve been on it since my twenties (pretty much as soon as I noticed shedding) and I’ve never dealt with hair loss. I used to use it with topical minoxidil but I dropped it years ago and haven’t noticed a difference. That’s while being on compounds gurus and the like say finasteride shouldn’t work with. It’s cheap and it’s always worked for me with zero side effects.

I also don’t get any sides from finasteride. It definitely helps but it can only do so much when your hormone levels get a spike.

I take the 5 mg pills and split them into 4. When I’m on a heavy cycle sometimes I’ll take a half and that gets the job done for me. Everyone is different though.

Yep. I pretty much do the same. It seems to work pretty well for me too. Finasteride is also crazy cheap if you get it prescribed as 5mg generic proscar. I think the problem is testosterone itself causes miniaturization but just to much lesser degree than DHT. By blocking a lot of the dht conversion it leads to more T. I’ve recently started using RU54881 topical that’s supposed to block a lot of the androgens in the scalp.

I got it on eBay. I’ve seen it on Amazon also. It doesn’t seem to difficult to find.

I just got a script for this. Going to let it rip instead of using rogaine. I will update in a few months.

Any updates on the oral Minoxidil TeknoViking, how is it going thus far?

Has anyone ever used Oral Minoxidil (Loniten) for hair loss? 5mg. It's prescribed for hypertension but there's also been some studies that it's worked better for hair loss than topical minoxidil. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with it. I currently take 1mg of finasteride daily along with my TRT. I'm trying to keep my hair as long as possible.

I was prescribed it for hair loss by my dermatologist after joking about his hair, he said I could have some of mine back. I said sure, why not. What do I have to lose that i haven’t lost already.

Oral, 2x per day. It is working for me. Been about 4 months now and the hair on the top of my head is growing back after years and years of absence. Everybody that knows me has noticed.

Zero sides for me. Only effecting the hair on my head. And it’s dirt cheap.

I’ve been using 5mg a day for 2 months and my eyebrows are growing back, my hair is definitely thicker with some increased density. Oh yeah and by the way, my blood pressure hasn’t been this good in 25 years! I had to cut my Lisinopril in half. Couldn‘t be happier.
