I'm with Johnny Bravo on this one. I like some of the "music" but the words are garbage... BTW, who is gonna be the first to squash that "eminem" dork? I dislike negative music. Yes, some music has bad words, etc... and can still be good, especially to get you motivated. But shit like eminem and a bunch of that other shit is just pointless. I guess some people are entertained by it?

Dude its simple all that shit is for kids , you see kids wanna be big and bad and tuff so they have to listen to that kind of music , while here iam passing them in my 69 mach1 mustang listening to Steve Perry ahahaha they look at me like im a wuss ahahaha but the fact is there just little punks that wanna act like eminem even driving there Mommas car ahahaha .

I don't know what you're all talking about. I know for a fact Eminem can kick serious ass. In fact, I heard him say so.

Really though, I don't mind rappers too much. The only thing they seem to hurt is each other. Whenever I hear of one rapper shooting another, I'm just thankful that one more is gone.

When was the last time a "fan" killed a rapper. Never but metals bands sure have a problem with this. Granted there is alittle more violence directed from some hiphop artist but it's directed right back at the same type. Either way music is music and if you don't like it just don't listen. These guys do what they need to make money just the same as anyone of us. Alot of those guys are alot smarter than you think. M isn't that bad of a guy, I have some friends that were around him alittle growing up. He just grew through a different up bringing. Passing judgements on these guys without really knowing them isn't right. Look at Xzibit, he's from Michigan and a rapper, makes loot with his music and Mtv but also carries 2 degrees from central michigan university. A bachelors in psychology and 1 in something else. i really don't see too many people accomplishing that.

The way i look at it "to each his own" but I don't like Hip hop because it promotes violence. Having said this all different genres of music did something like this. The music of the late sixties and seventies promoted drug use and yea i was into it. Every era has its own music and a lot of it the preceding generation would hate it but it just keeps evolving. But all the roots go back to the blues anyway.
If everyone liked the same music it would be a boring world.
