Peter & Lee in Flex

Here is a pic of Peter and Lee from the new Flex that isn't on the stands yet. Sorry about the reflection. It was taken at the Pittsburgh Pro. They look great standing together. Like brothers. I have a question guys... why isn't Peter featured as one of Professional Muscle's ripped members? He only won a National Level show and has been in Flex, MuscleMag, and IronMan...two of the mags on different occasions.

show you won your card? Or is it only in the Usa`s you win your pro card?

show you won your card? Or is it only in the Usa`s you win your pro card?

Hey Guys. The Collegiates isn't a pro-qualifier, nor the Teens. The shows are more to promote the sport at these levels. For the most part the athletes who show up at these events are not on the level of any pros. To name a few who have done these shows... Branch Warren, Jay Cutler, King Kamali, Phil, to name a few. So in time some very good physiques have used this show to get exposure and move on up the ranks towards turning pro.

Great shape and mass. Just have fun in this sport, dont take it too seriously. If you worry about all the magazine covers you will not be on or the exposure you will miss out on, it wont be fun anymore. Not everyone can be a pro in this sport. Time will tell. Until then, just have fun and train hard. Life is not always about how many people see you and pay homage to your body. A lot of people try to get in every picture and have their face on every cover to get "exposure". Sometimes it is nice to see people only so often because it makes you appreciate them that much more.

Phil,
We appreciate your post and agree with you 100%. I don't know if you misunderstood my post, but Peter and I ARE having fun with this. That is exactly why we post the pics on this site, so we can show y'all what a good time we have at some of the shows. It is all in fun. Believe me, Peter and I know, more than I think others do, how temporal this sport can be, we are not guaranteed anything. Peter would be the first to say that turning pro isn't the end all be all of his existance. The board is a forum for members to post stuff just like the picture I posted of Peter and Lee. In regards to the comment I made about Peter not being a featured member, I just thought he deserved to be right up there with some of the others that are. Not because he needed the attention.

cool pic , i wouldnt be so concerned as to what exposure Peter may get , exposure in this sport realy doesnt pay back or contribute to much , id be more concerned with Peters love for the sport and the fun and enjoyment he will obtain from his experience in this short lived sport , then id be concerned in possibly changing his clorox lid and getting him on a diet asap LMAO . just fn wit ya Peter looking great bro and YES plz do post pics of your achievements cause we all know it will be gone in a wink of an eye , keep gaining bro and peace jess.

Keep up the hard work. The more exposure you get the more you stick in the judges minds. No one can deny that there is politics involved, especially at the national level.

Like you pointed out pputnam, quite a few of the greats in the sport have used the collegiates as a stepping stone. Congrats to you and your girl and good luck in the future.

bro, i have seen your past pics and you have good potential.. looks like you have put on some size and are having fun trying to obtain your goals.. look forward to seeing you compete in the future.. compete for the next 30 years if ya want.. as long as your still having fun, who cares.. it is about the ride.. for some the ride lasts longer than others.. this is kinda off topic but, my best friend's father jappy dickson did not start competing until he was 64 years old.. he has competed in the masters universe among others.. he is 70 now.. and having a great time.. when he was interviewed in a local texas paper (he works out at ronnie colemans gym, metroflex) about him competeing at 70 he said " ill keep competing as long as i look good.. heck, i am ONLY 70 years old".. thought it was funny...
