Phil Heath and others at The NPC Southeastern

This past Saturday my wife and I attended the prejudging at The NPC Southeastern in Orlando. A couple of our own Pro Muscle members competed. tflexxin and silk. Both looked great and won their classes. tflexxin won the Superheavy and silk won the middleweights. Phil Heath was the guest poser as he has been for the past 3 years. As always he looked great and once again showed why he is one of the classiest guys in the sport by talking with everyone and posing for pictures.
I didn't get a chance to meet Silk but I did have the pleasure of meeting tflexxin. Super good guy and I really liked the fact that he had his lovely wife and family with him cheering him on. It's guys like tflexxin that are everything right with bodybuilding. This guy has got a ton of size, great shape, and as good as I thought he looked, I am betting that he will get much better in the future. Watch out for him and you heard it here first. He doesn't live that far away and I am looking forward to getting to know him and maybe one day if I ever get near that level, competing with him. Here is a pic of tflexxin and myself.

Phil Heath

Here is picture of my wife Marilyn with Phil Heath. Most will tell you this one of the sport's really good guys and I would have to agree. This is the first time that my wife has met Phil. I have known him for a few years now through pm member brklynkd who is friend of Phils and takes care of him when he comes for the Southeastern. Phil really impressed the heck out of my wife when he asked her how our twin sons were doing. She couldn't believe that he remembered them after meeting them back in 2006.

Figure Pro Marcy Porter

The gym that brklynkd and I train at has quite a few colorful characters. Some Pro Wrestlers, adult film stars, NFL Hall of famer Jack Youngblood, about 5-7 National Level male and female bodybuilders and one Figure Pro. She is a pretty good friends with my wife Marilyn and she was one of the judges of the show.

Hey Aeliop! Cool to meet you too guy! Many thanks for the props. It was unfortunate there was a lack of competition in the SHW class, but that seems to be the case until you hit the higher levels, then there's tons of guys coming out of the woodwork to do battle. I was farily pleased with my condition, and I think I represented well in the overall battle.

Oh, and I"ll confirm your comments, the next time I step on stage (2009) you will barely recognize me in terms of size and condition. My trainer and I have a good game plan for off-season, address weak parts, and continue to improve in all facets of the game.

My family, daughter especially, are big supporters. T-shirts and all!
I'll be attending the Armed Forces show (helping promotor). Hope to see you there.
Then off to the Nationals in Atlanta (as a spectator only of course) for some fun and further motivation!

P.S. Phil Heath was incredible! 250lbs of sheer gracefull mass!
