Add resistance at contraction, you can't relax at contraction that way. And it's easier on joint since it doesn't add weight at the stretch.

Looking great, man! I too remember the first pics that you posted after your heart surgery and to see how far you have come is absolutely mind blowing. You are truly a motivational story yourself and it's guys like you that make me realize that I have no excuse not to get up and go to the gym. I think it's great that you train with your wife also. I'm sure it brings you guys a lot closer.
