Hi guys,

This is my first time posting my pic on a forum. It is not the best of quality because currently a digital camera is not in the budget. I also never formally introduced myself on the forum but have been lurking and posting some since December when the other board I was on shut down.

I do not know how much I weigh currently but I am 6'0, I stopped using scales and counting calories about 2 months ago and it was the best decision I ever made, Just using the good old mirror now. Not sure on the bodyfat %, never got it measured, but I am currently dieting down and my goal is 7%, cutting carbs on non lift days and eating moderate carbs when I do lift.

Other facts. I am 22 years old, never competed in bodybuilding before, butI might in the future when I can concentrate more on diet. Have done some local lifting comps where I took first place in bench (425lb) and squat (605lb). Hopefully I can get some leg pics up sometime. Anyway, just thought Id post a pic so you could put a body to a name.

Looks like you got a good base to start your bodybuilding career with...

Bodyfat looks good for offseason...Probably in the single digits, if not hardly over 10 % range...But my guess would be around 8 % or so...Maybe a tad less...I think with another 6 months of hard offseason training you should aim to do a early season show next year...

you look great so far..........keep it up. Think big and full.........not flat and stringy and things will go your way.
 
Thanks for the comments guys, they are very encouraging, especially coming from such accomplished individuals. I do want to compete someday, its just very difficult right now with being in school. I'm really just trying to drop fat so that when bulk and cut it isnt such a difference and doesnt play the head games you get from dropping so much weight.

Phil - If I do decide to compete I will need a lot of help in contest prep, if you could PM a price quote so I can keep you in mind that would be great.

You got a good base man and young too...take some more pics so we can see the whole package...

Thanks Phil, its nice to have you guys around to help me, I have learned so much on these boards. As much as I would love to commit fully to competing right now, if I have learned anything on these sites its that bodybuilding is not just a sport, its a lifestyle. I'm still young and I dont want to miss out on being young, so when all my friends go out on the weekends I like to join them, and thats why I was saying I dont think I can fully commit to a hardcore contest prep diet right now.

I dont know if you remember, but you gave me some advice a little while back about not being so into counting calories. Out of all the complex things I have learned I think thats the best advice, because now I feel a lot more in tune with my body and have lost I'm guessing about 3% body fat just by making it more simple on myself.

Your a beast. Judging from your height i'd say your at least 230lbs depending on how the wheels are. Def got a good frame to go far with.
 
Thanks hutch, fourthgen, I will do what I can to put up some more pics/higher quality. I have gone through a lot of injuries with my legs this year, I was doing some fighting last fall and got put in an Achilles hold, which tore my Achilles tendon and soleous muscle, also broke my foot, so it has been difficult to hit my legs how I used to. However I have held onto a decent amount of mass on my legs from when I was squatting a lot, but due to injuries my calves have shrunk about 2 inches and are about an inch smaller than my biceps. But anyway, I will see what I can do to post some more pics.
