Beautiful coloring, what type of dog is he?
thanks, he's a purebred bluenose pitbull.

Flex, Beautiful boy. I love blue pits. have to be my favorite type. I had an all white 85lb. female that was stolen from me :-( Loved that dog. My current lifestyle unfortunately can't handle the amount of attention that is required to raise a pit. Love the Blue!

85lb female...sheesh...sounds like she was stealing your dbol.LOL i would have loved to see a pic of her!
i am actually kind of worried tank might get stolen every once in a while. when i used to have a toyota pickup and i would leave him in the bed while i ran into a store or something i always tried to keep an eye on him...just in case. thanks for the comments:)

Im w/ Rob, pits are the shit man. Nice pic and sweet dog Flex. I have a French bulldog that is so friggen hard-headed, nothing like my APBT.

Those are some really nice looking pits. We just got one from the shelter but I don't think he's pure bred. He looks a little like your little 6 month old black one. Ours is black too and has that white strip down the face.

did you cross your pits with bulldogs? they look super short and stocky...very cool though. i like that tank is a bit taller than yours because he's really athletic and can go anywhere with me. that was one reason i didnt choose a bulldog because they arent as athletic (my old roomates had one, cool dog but got tired out quickly)

awe my thoughts exactly flex, i love a lil smaller pit for its athletic ability, when you breed them too big you loose that trait, although they are cool looking as hell, i like a pit that can perform, and has some wind to him, hell if he wants to go chase a deer, i at least want him to have fun doing it and not die over of a heart attack...LOL JK> i have a seven month old blue pit, he's all white with some blue spots (pics posted somewhere here) and not sure of his weight now as i have slimmed him down just a tad to help increase his speed just a tad, and lots of up hill sprints after his favorite ball.LOL
flex your dog is diesel bro, and looks like he could run and get after it if he wanted to! nice dog! and shit he got some thick legs also..LOL

There crossed with am. staffs. I have been in the game dog world for a long time and still own game dogs, I'll put my bully dogs on a wild boar any day, I've seen them take down 200lb.+ boars on many occasions. We have 1800 acres of land and me and my little boy will ride for hours and they will run along and never miss a beat. But as long as it's a pit you know you have an excellent friend.

He looks like FUN!

P.S. JT said nice dog too, but since I messed up his computer...blah, blah, blah. :D

i have a red nose pitt.. she is 7 months old.. and about 38 pounds.. pitts come in all shapes and sizes but, many are breeding them much larger dogs and hence, the much larger pitt.. if ya go by most standards, the pitt is not very heavy.. males about 55 pounds and females about 45 pounds.. this is my second pitt.. the first was a rather heavy staffy.. he was short and stock.. beautiful head.. my american is very light, muscular and has a beatuiful head also.. i like the smaller version myself.. but, love all pitts..;) PITTS OR NOTHING..;) PITTS HAVE THOSE DISTINCT LOOKS.. the slant eyes and the ridge between the eyes.. give that classic pitt look..

Does you Dog lift weights??

seriously-drag sleds or anything? he looks strong.

I love the way these dogs look but I would be afraid to own one.

ya know conan.. i was too a bit scared with my first one.. but, i know it sounds like a pitch, but, it is how ya raise em'.. mine were like babies.. never showed aggression.. we "put the smack down" early to show whio was boss.. you could not ask for greater dogs.. my kids would bother the hell out of them.. they would just lay down or just walk away.. but, we taught the kids how to handle them.. my red nose is the sweetest thing around.. lazy ect.. could walk into my house and rob me blind and she would not even get off the couch..:D

like LATS said, as cliche`as it sounds, it really is how you raise them. tank's not aggressive to anything but animals (deer, cattle, ect...not cats or other dogs though). ever since he was a pup i would let him play with a bone and while he was chewing it i would each in and take it out of his mouth, while he was eating take his bowl away. obviously i would give them right back but i just never wanted to have to deal with him biting someone who would reach down for something whether it be something he's chewing on or near it. they are great dogs though!!!

to answer your weight lifting question...when he was about 1 year old i lived behind a school with some of those football sleds that the players push...i made a harness for him and had him pull around a 2 man sled and eventually a 4 man sled (at least i think it was 4 man sled). other than that nothing really. we play a lot and he jumps for things i hold up or toss to him, but nothing special anymore. his dad was 2 time national weight pulling champion though, so thats where he gets it im sure.
