Thats wasnt a cool thing to say! Who cares if he does or doesnt have pro potential, the kid has a dream and doesnt need you trying to knock him down in the process. You HAD great pro potential...

I have not seen some top quality pics of you yet, but from what i see, you are very large! Maybe good enough for top amateur(sp) level, but what i think Phil was getting at is that the "pro" level is far and few b/t. All of us would love to step on stage at the "O" but how many of us are able to? I certainly can say that i would love to reach the nat'l level of bbing s'time in the future, but i KNOW for fact i will NEVER, nor do i have the genetics to become a pro.

I am not tyring to be cool. If you dont want an honest opinion, you are in the wrong sport. Calling people fuckers is the wrong way to go about it also. You post pics on here, be prepared to hear the truth. For those of you that are not a pro bodybuilder, what do you think our life is really like??? I am sparing his feelings because once he steps on a pro stage, all you he is going to hear is negative comments about himself. Who is he going to compete against if he turns pro? Do you want to see him next to Cormier, Coleman, Priest, Ray, Titus, Martinez, Leverone, Schillercamp, Jones, Haider, Freeman, James, the list goes on and on. Who is he going to beat?? All he does is talk about turning pro. Here is a little advice. IT IS NOT AN EASY THING TO DO. Get a real life and if it happens, it happens. Listen to Vanders advice. Vander is truning pro before Deca19. I am asking you guys to give sound advice and not blow smoke up this guys ass. It is a cruel world, we can and all should dream big, but dreaming of being a pro bodybuilder is not a dream. It is a hard life and a short life. A dream would be a family, good job, happy life, etc..

i think phil is right, ya he gets right to the point but thats life...im 22 i love bodybuilding but i know its not all i want in life...i think ppl that think they are goin to turn pro..will have a wake up call if they ever get the chance to grace the National level stage...look at guys like Palumbo..he may never get his pro card or even chris cook..u get one chance a yr to do it...i think phil is taking his experiences an tryin to give ppl reality checks....hey if all else fails do some bbing show's, maybe some tv commericals, and then run for gov. haha

Phil is 100% right. My uncle was trying to get his Pro Card, at 27 he got gastrointestinal cancer and died 4 months later. He dedicated his whole life to BB, when he died, he had no kids, no wife. Somethings in life are more important that living a dream.
