Well we returned from a successful trip to the Pittsburgh show where Amy secured her spot at the national shows with a first place win in Class A Figure Open and narrowly missed the overall. Here a few pics!

PS...this weekend we go to Atlanta for the Eastern Seaboard!

I've often said the ladies have it harder than the men because of the uncertainty of what the judges are looking for. In this case, however, I have a pretty good idea about what happened but I'd be wise to leave that to private discussions.

In any case I am very proud of her and the sky is the limit!

Awesome achievement, you must be bursting with pride. Its great that you have this thing going on and you support her the way you do, its difficult sometimes for family / partners to realise why we do what we do sometimes. Also as everyone says from that single picture it does look like your girl was given an unfair decision, but the main thing is she has that qualification and you can focus on what to do next now as she obviously has the talent to go far.

There's no denying the blond gal looked great, but compared to Amy... well... let's just say I'd have rewarded a much more balanced/eye-pleasing physique...

That's the way it is, unfortunately... but still Amy won her class and the masters, which is already a huge fulfilment! Next one now, girl!!
