I took a few pics, in the mirror again, then one before my shower, my wife caught me and I had her take two back shots before she threw in some laundry.

The Back lat pose and Rear double biceps. I may cut that hair it looks bad in the back double biceps pose. I thought my back was bigger too, I need more thickness and definately need to bring up the wheels.

But I'm doing a small local show next month, just to get my feet wet and step up my training a bit. What do you think? I'm 5'-10" about 195-200, weight varies daily depending on water and carbs.

Looking good. You need to bring up your shoulders more to add to your back sweep. Not enough thickness on the delts. Chest has good shape and thickness. Quads and hams need some more size to help balance your physique better and give you that X frame look. Some work to do yet but otherwise nice lines and good size. Look good bro!!

Berseker nominated you for featured member this month, which got me to take a look at those pics (well... I would have anyway :p ). And I gotta say that he's damn right to give you so many props!!!

In all honesty you look GREAT to me. :)

A lil' more shoulder width as OF stated could only do good, but hey... a lot of time to work on it this upcoming off-season. ;)

I'm mainly doing this show to stay interested.

I told Phil about my diet and he said that he would never follow a diet like it. I think I understand why now. I am getting pretty lean from the diet, but after 9 weeks I'm pretty burned out. I also feel that I lost a great deal of size.

My work is getting stressful, I have two Zoning board meetings comming up, those feel like competitions, I definately have to bring my A game to those.

Never the less, I feel a sense of accomplishment when I get a lot of stuff done under pressure, especially combining work and physical goals.

I had no Idea that I was nominated for featured member, it's a great honor! Bezerker is a very knowledgable and informative member. I will do my best next month and will take all of your suggestions into consideration and greatly appreciate you taking the time to offer them.

I entered the show won first place in the Lt. Heavyweight, I just ate a ton of food and had about 5 pops, but I'm going to take a few pics, I didn't really get any good ones at the show, because my camera is pretty crappy. I think my brother may have taken some good ones, though, I will post those when I see them.

Here's a few pics, they look pretty crappy, my camera is cheap, but I will get some better quality pics up, when my cousin sends them to me. I also included a few pics from when I made it back home after eating a ton of food. I think that I actually look a lot better today.

Everyone told me I was pretty dry and my back looked sick. My dad said that I looked sick (as a dog!) He told me to gain some weight:D

Here's a few more. I did use LBA's as my only source of protein during my carb-loading phase, I combined about 4 different pieces of advice from this board and came up with my own plan, but I dropped a little too much weight. I did look big, but I only weighted 178!!! Everyone else was in the 190+ area. I bet I'm close to 190 now, I will take a few pics today.

Thanks everyone, I just wanted to get my feet wet a 1st place Lt. Heavyweight is a nice start. Couldn't have done it without this board!!!!

So I just keep it long to not cause too much attention, People would either say it looks good short, or what the hell were you thinking?
Always a reaction for sure. Besides I'm getting old, it may not grow back, I'll just let it fall out on it's own.

My younger bro took crappy pics too, but my cousin said that his came out great, so hopefully I should have those on Tuesday.

I look much better today, I just took some pics this morning after having some skirt steak and sausages, and I look better. I should have followed that "Shit-load" Principal on Syneteks website!!

This show was strange in that there were only about 4-5 competitors per class, and only 2 women, so the promoter decided to combine the pre-judging and evening show. So the check in was 4:00PM and show started at 6:00PM.

I really think that if It would have been the other way, I would have gone home to eat as much as possible then came back for the evenings fuller and harder.

By the end of the show during the overalls, I felt softer then soft, I could pinch skin, I was so damn dehydrated!!

I drank about 1 gallon of water and some pop right after barely quenched my thirst. I was up til 2am. But in all I'm very happy and will learn from this.

I took very careful notes and documented everything for next time. Here's a two more pics that my wife took today, I feel way better and tighter after eating and drinking some fluids.
I will post the real show ones on a different thread.

Well, I was right, I knew you do good in a local show, Big Congrats! Design, how tall are you?
 
I'm 5'-9 1/2" barefoot. And Thanks Pesty, I appreciate it. My stepson was so proud of me, we weren't haven't been that close lately, he just turned 16 and has his own thing going, but I guess he sees that I'm him now especially with the music that my cousin picked out for me! It was a combo of O fortuna, then Al capone, a few seconds of Jump around (cypres hill) then Haterz all in one minute! I heard the song once over the phone, but I played it by ear and the crowd loved it! This was one of the greatest experiences that I've ever had. A few people from my gym said "where the hell did that come from?" Because I always train in baggy sweats and loose T-shirts, so I guess I surprised a few of them.

Thanks Dave and FSM! I can't wait to see the real pics myself, my cousin is taking a CD to work for me tomorrow. I've been too busy working from home drawing, I feel just a little behind last week, but I will post those an another thread along with my training, diet, supplements, etc. Incase anyone is interested or curious.

I do owe a lot of the information to this board as well as the access to great products like LBA's I really think that they helped me quite a bit, I took them for about 5 weeks leading up to the show, that's just about all I did differently. But I will start a whole new thread about it.

I'm not sure if they are completely unique, just a few things I picked up over time, from friends, boards, especially this one, I will post a thread about it tomorrow with better pics and more details about what I did and how.
