this guy was not only a spirtual leader but a very intellegent person . what i think he could speak 9 different laungues . he was one not to give up. battles with cancer, been shot, new hip, knees and old timers yet still very alert till the end.he will be missed.

I was in Rome in early March, while the Pope was very ill. We took a tour of the vatican city and our tour guide spoke of alot of the incredible attributes the Pope held. He was a remarkable man, as well as an amazing athlete.

Atleast there is not pain and suffering for him anymore. It's sad to see the human body break down over time.

Let us hope that the next Pope is as great a role model as John Paul II was.
